Monday, October 5th, 2009 --we woke up to our first snow in Rock Springs
... half a foot. It sure doesn't look much like typical Rock Springs with all the trees and wet weather.         We received about 6-8 inches of very wet heavy snow. I-80 had a truck wreck at the Green River tunnels which closed down the interstate for a while. We received over half an inch of precip in this event. Soon, we can go ice fishing!
