     October 24th. 2009

I have discovered the fun and work of having trees in the yard.  Grass yellows if the leaves are not raked up soon.  The freshly fallen leaves smell really rich and earthly. The last leaves I raked were back in the late 80's in Michigan.  If I had a garden spot, I would start a compost pile...still debating.

It took me four hours to clean up the leaf pile.

A Home Depot pumpkin.

I have 13 bags and two more to fill from around the back
 of the yard.

See my new dog fence at the upper left, everyone loves nice grass!

Alas, I still lack a trophy pink flamingo to fill out the trailer park decor!
I haven't received any feedback on the new color scheme for the web site yet.  I felt a little like Halloween so we have the orange and other colors instead of my perennial green colors.
